Choosing your matcha

What is the difference between Barista and ceremonial?
Premium Barista blends first and second harvests: smooth and fruity, it suits lattes and recipes. Grand Cru and Signature come from the first harvest and can be enjoyed pure.
Which matcha should I start with?
For an everyday latte, choose Premium Barista. To enjoy your matcha pure, explore Grand Cru, made with the Okumidori cultivar, or Signature, with rich umami and a velvety texture.
Is your matcha organic?
Our matchas are JAS Organic certified. Awards specific to each range are listed on its product page.
Where does your matcha come from?
Our matcha is grown in Yame, Fukuoka, Japan. Premium Barista blends first and second harvests; Grand Cru and Signature Ceremonial matchas come from the first harvest.
